And to thank our mom for not letting us get our hair relaxed until junior high.
My hair was long and comb-breakingly thick before my first relaxer at age 11. My mom's friend did it out of a box kit, and it broke off promptly. My BSL hair was soon chopped into a ear-length mushroom cut.
Seeing the risks of these chemicals, please moms, don't put this stuff on your 3-year old's head!
