Ladies Choice: Pinned up Twists

As my hair grew from teeny-weeny afro to a good medium-sized fro, I found myself looking for some protective styles that I could wear with ease. My favorite of all is this pinned-up twist style! Simple, easy, and pretty.



I did two-strand twists, and left them in overnight, then in the morning, I strategically pinned them using bobby pins. Often, I would twist two twists together, before pinning. Add a headband, hair flower, or other hair jewelry to finish the look.
